Meet Mike and Twylla

They spent years living the American dream in a spacious home on two acres in southern Oklahoma, raising a lively family. Mike worked in the oil fields, while Twylla managed the household. However, during the COVID housing boom, they made the bold decision to sell their home, despite the struggling job market. They downsized to a tiny house on an acre of land, initially planning to travel in a fifth-wheel RV. But after going down the truck camper rabbit hole on YouTube, they realized the practicality of a smaller, more mobile option.

They bought a water-damaged Lance 915, fully aware it would be a project. Over time, they rebuilt it so thoroughly that they now joke it’s a "2024 model." Today, they live full-time in their revamped truck camper, renting out their tiny home to family and are having the adventure of a lifetime. Their truck, a Ram 3500, is lovingly named "Black Betty," while their camper is known as "Betty White."
