Meet Jim

Jim is a dedicated family practice physician based in rural Oregon. He first discovered his love for Unimog vehicles during medical school and found that wrenching on these vehicles offered a certain kind of therapy.

In 1996, Jim purchased his first Unimog and in 2000, he founded MogFest, which has since grown into the largest gathering of Unimogs in the western hemisphere, drawing in hundreds of high-mobility vehicle enthusiasts every year.

His current pride and joy is a 1975 Volvo TGB1314A 6x6 named "Mammut'' which is certainly a head turner. In a former life, Mammut was an ambulance for the Swedish military.
