Meet Greg

a Californian entrepreneur who's as comfortable navigating the corporate world as he is off-road in his Jeep. Trading the sleek Jaguar for the rugged Jeep during the pandemic was more than just a change in wheels; it was a shift towards embracing the outdoors and reconnecting with what truly matters.

The Jeep allows Greg to collect experiences, unplug from the grid and meet the wonderful community of overlanders out there. So when his brother-in-law inspired him to launch the TrailNewbie YouTube channel, Greg just saw it as an opportunity to amplify what he already loved doing. 

The MoonShade works well for Greg because of its compact size that provides shade without needing a roof rack to permanently mount to. Its portability and efficiency allow him to pack light and journey far.
