Meet Jess and Shawn

The duo behind CRUX and beta share a passion for adventure and craftsmanship that has shaped their journey. They met in California over a decade ago and bonded over their shared passion for rock climbing and tiny living. Their van “Skullivan”, a Ram Promaster 3500, has been their home for the last four years and is truly a work of art.

Their company, CRUX and beta, speaks to the problems and solutions when building vans and allows them to practice the craft they love and create community all while maintaining a life untethered. When they're not building vans you can find them at the crag. Keep being rad you guys.
