Built for RVs. Ready for Anything.
Modeled after our best-selling MoonShade original, now reworked for RV setups with Keder rails. With dual Keder welts on both 9ft and 7ft sides, you get more ways to mount and more flexibility in your layout.
The 420D ripstop polyester canopy is seam-sealed with a water-resistant connection method to stop water from sneaking in through. Plus, the reflective underside bounces back lantern light at night for a brighter, more ambient space.

MoonShade Reviews
FAq
How does MoonShade RV attach to my trailer?
MoonShade RV has an integrated 3/8" keder welt sewn into the canopy. It slides directly into your trailer's existing awning rail — no anchor hardware, no surface prep.
What trailers is MoonShade RV compatible with?
MoonShade RV is built for lightweight towable trailers and pop-ups (generally under 20ft) with a standard 3/8" keder or awning rail. Customer-confirmed trailers include the nuCamp T@B 320 and Forest River pop-ups. Most lightweight towables from Winnebago, Thor, Coachmen, Forest River, Jayco, and Fleetwood with a compatible rail will work. See the full list here.
Does MoonShade RV work on the Airstream Basecamp?
No — the Basecamp uses a 1/2" rail, not the standard 3/8". Basecamp owners should use MoonShade (OG) with the dedicated Basecamp Awning Rail Anchor.
Can I use MoonShade RV on a full-size motorhome or van?
MoonShade RV is built for lightweight towables with keder rails. For full-size vans or motorhomes, MoonShade XL or MoonShade Pro is the better fit.
Is MoonShade RV a good replacement for my factory awning?
Yes — that's the most common reason customers buy it. It's lighter than most factory replacements, sets up and comes down faster, and packs into a bag when not in use.
Is MoonShade waterproof?
We don’t “waterproof” our fabric because it would degrade the integrity of its UV resistance over time. That said, it is seam-sealed and the fabric is a technical 420 ripstop that sheds water like an umbrella.
