I sewed an awning rail insert to my Moonshade, and I purchased the rail anchors to reinforce the ends of my Moonshade to my popup using some gear ties. I couldn't be happier with both products! I never liked setting up or taking down the awning that came with my unit, so I am very happy.
I can't use them because the threading part of the ring assembly is too short for the type of railing I am using with my Mercedes Metris , because of that I cannot use the provided washers, the cylinder however fits well in the railing

Thanks for your feedback about this. We have passed this along to our design team for review. In the meantime, you may be able to pick up a piece from your local hardware store that can fit with our 3/8' anchor as an extension.

This Awning came with my Bowlus Endless Highways 2025 camper. Works really well and handles wind exceptionally well. I am a retired Engineer and know good design. This was well thought out and works very well. Ordering an extra set of anchors because could use the anchors on the railing for other purposes.

I did not receive my awning rail anchor. And did not receive the pole to use with the awning rail anchor which should be included. Now I’m not sure I’ll have all of what I ordered in time for my camping trip June 19th. Not sure where it’s shipped from but don’t be in a hurry for it.
The rail anchors worked beautifully!!
I used them on our 1956 Airstream Overlander for our awning. They worked perfect.
They fit nicely in the tracks of our 1966 Aladdin trailer
