Rail anchor diameter does not allow the barrel to slide past the sheet metal screws holding the rail to the camper. Need suction cups or smaller diameter barrels.
no problem with the Keder Rail on our Tab 400
These anchors are too large to make it past the screws affixing the keder rail. They are sold as part of a Tab 400 kit and SHOULD NOT be part of the kit. We now have a Moonshade that we otherwise like, and have no way to attach it to our trailer. We ordered an extra set of anchors to tie the guylines back to the trailer, ...and that will also require a different solution.
Got these for the keder rail on my Safari Condo 1743 Alto trailer. A perfect fit, seem sturdy. Using to hold a shade cloth on the non-awning side.
Wanted everyone to know that I ordered the 1/2" Awning Anchors for my Basecamp. They were too large for our rails. We downsized to the 3/8" and they work PERFECTLY! If the 1/2' inch is to large for your Basecamp, don't give up. Try the 3/8" Awning Anchors. They were easy to install and the welting fits right behind the anchor with no cutting.
This anchor fits the Keder Rail on our Safari Condo Alto F143 trailer perfectly. We can't wait till our Moon Shade XL arrives.

These aluminum barrel nuts slide into ⅜" (9.5mm) awning rails mounted along the top rim of many campers, trailers, and RVs. Stainless steel eye bolts are held in place with neoprene-backed stainless steel washers, allowing you to securely anchor your MoonShade to your pre-installed awning rail.
