I didn’t want to install a permanent awning on our 2021 Pacifica, because I try to keep it looking as much like a normal, boring car as possible. I was delighted to learn about the Moon shade, and even more delighted when it turned out to be a cinch to install. Be sure to get two of the oval suction cups — they JUST fit at either end of the roof racks. Well-made, well-designed set up. So glad to have it!

Great, versatile awning. Light, easy to install and pack, and it can be used on basically any vehicle (or even without a vehicle). The quality is excellent.

I used to run big, heavy 270° awnings. While they’re quick to deploy in a pinch, they’re bulky and heavy—and a real pain in windy or rainy conditions with all the guy lines (10+ of them).

The MoonShade is just simpler and more practical for how I camp.

Bonus: I’m now easy to spot—I’m the blue Raptor with the orange MoonShade.

The price deterred me for a few months, but after struggling with wet season and trying to cook outside my van, I figured I would make the plunge. It look just a few minutes to set up by myself and is excellent quality. It was a crazy windy day when I tested it and it held up extremely well. I purchased the round suction cup attachments as well (though wish I would have opted for oval - didn’t realize how little flat surface there was on my van but I found a way to make the round ones work). Can’t wait to bust this out during my next adventure.

I think Moon Shade will be a perfect addition to our van.

I purchased my first Moonshade in 2020. Unfortunately, my trailer was stolen recently. I needed to replace the trailer and the gear that was inside. Of course, my first choice for a shade was new a Moonshade.

The Moonshade, hands down, is the best shade on the market. I recommend it to everyone interested in a shade that will last The materials used are very durable and the construction is top notch. with lots of attention to details. Setup is quick and easy and it looks awesome.
