Magnet Anchors

They did not hold up during an unexpected gust of wind and nearly beaned us in the head. Found they did work well on the rear door hinges supplemented with metal zip ties.

It’s a bit of an unconventional application, but I was looking for a way to connect a MoonShade to the back of my pickup with a Softopper. I grabbed a couple of washers for a 1” bolt to slide between the rear support bar and canvas for the topper. OD of the washer is probably 2” and matches up well with the OD of the magnets. There’s great holding power between these magnets and the steel washers. It works great and as I had hoped.

After struggling to try to get the suction cups positioned and secure on the roof of my Sprinter, I ordered the Magnet Anchors. They arrived quickly. What a difference! It makes set up a breeze for one person. Speaking of breezes, these magnets are strong enough to handle a light breeze. I’m happy that I can orient my MoonShade using either the 7 foot or the 9 foot side easily or change the location completely. These anchors are great.

For a 2017 Ford Transit 150 low roof they work much better than the large suction cups. There just wasn't enough totally flat surface for the suction cups and they would let loose. The magnets seem to work much better and are instantly placed.

I ordered these to attach my moonshade to my 2023 Suburban. They work well with the extra pole that comes with the shade. I have not used them in windy or rainy conditions yet.

We use the MOONSHADE magnet anchors on both our vehicles. When camping or roadtripping in our Promaster conversion van or just out for a picnic or day trip in our Pathfinder, the magnets make it simple to set up and take down. Love the whole system!

These anchors are essentially really strong magnets that leave no trace behind when you take them off. We have a Winnebago Solis PX van with a pop-up top that does not have a permanent awning, nor space to install it. It took me forever to find a good alternative. These magnets stuck easily to the small space we have available to anchor the Moon Shade. Our first trial with these anchors was in a location with a light breeze. These anchors didn't budge from where I placed them. I'm very happy with this purchase and look forward to many more shady road trips!

Steel frame in which our solar panels sit. You need a REALLY firm grip to move or remove them!! My wife asked if they would fall off while driving. I told her could do chin-ups on ‘em😂

The magnets hold great a great addition to my pack. I can use them on the truck to secure my Moon shade.

Great magnets and easy to use with our Hiker Trailer. would highly recommend. Just be careful these are powerful and can be a pinch point. We use a piece of cardboard in between them.

I love the ease to set up and take down of the Moon Shade. I have a Ram Promaster City and this product fits like a glove!!

The mounts are great with no wind but won’t stay if gusts are 5 mph or more.

I have not received these anchors yet! Order confirmed on June 24, subsequent message received about shipping/warehousing problems but order “promised” by July 15… now August 9 and USPS tracking shows order bouncing back and forth to Indianapolis. Shipping address on my original order appears correct. What’s happening? Please don’t send an automated request for a nice review without checking for receipt of product. Pretty disappointed.

Now we have all the options to set up our moon shades!!

These are amazing! When using it with the Moonshade XL put the Moonshade together on the ground first, hookup to the magnets, and then attach to your vehicle last.

The magnets are not strong enough to withstand typical gusts of wind, but they are perfect for a windless day.

Very strong and don't scratch anything.
