The suction cups worked well. It’s nice to have the awning up in light rains, adds another room to our Sprinter van.

These things suck! I mean really stick to the vehicle!
I bought the package which included the suction cups and the moon shade for my Ram Promaster. The shade and cups came no problem. The functionality of the cups with regards to a Promaster is questionable. Problem being the cups have to adhere to a completely flat surface and anybody that knows a Promaster can attest there are few. One has to resort to placing them as high on the sides of the vehicle as possible. This creates two problems first the awning gets in the way of the opening of the door, second when it rains since the awning is not on top of the roof there is a gap allowing water to come down between the awning and the vehicle making it self defeating. I have since ordered the magnets in hopes that this will solve the problem, but it’s a shame I had to buy both the suction cups and the magnets to get the full functionality.
heavier duty options on amazon for 15 bucks without paying the hippy tax
Only thing I have found that holds my tie downs in place.
Thanks for the feedback, James!
I bought 2 anchors as couldn’t afford the awning and thought I’d use my own tarp and stakes. I was astonished at how strong one of them attached, but then the other doesn’t hold at all. Will ask for replacement.
Hi Marina! Thanks for letting us know about the issue. The team just reached out and we're here to help.
Work for intended use. Needed to hold a sail cloth to side of 5th wheel. Stays for 2-3 weeks of continuous use really depends upon how much intense heat they get in this AZ sun.
Thank you for your review, Cindy!
Our versatile suction anchors adhere to most smooth, flat, non-porous surfaces. Whether anchoring MoonShade to glass, metal vehicle roofs or side panels, and even fiberglass, you’re good to go!
Even if suction anchors aren’t your primary MoonAnchors, we think they’ll come in handy when setting up MoonShade in some unexpected places. Suction anchors allow for creative MoonShade set ups by providing a broader array of sphere anchor points.
*Not for use in windy conditions.
