This product exceeded my expectations. The added shade is a must for us when we travel in Florida. Infact it was cooler under this shade than it was under our awning. It does really well with a slight breeze, yet not too well with an afternoon down poor that sneaks up on us. We spent our whole vacation under this shade and it really helped to keep the heat down on this side of the trailer as our fridge would always struggle to keep cool without it. Being a true "Shadeologist" I give this product 5 stars! I plan to buy another one for the back of the trailer next. You can never have enough shade in Florida.

I reached out to Moonfab to explore if any of their awning anchor attachments would work on a Mercedes Metris camper van with a pop-up top. The available attachment surfaces are not very big or flat. After seeing pictures of our van, they recommended a new product not yet on their website - vacuum mounts. They mailed me a pair and the vacuum mount is the perfect solution for anchoring the awning near the front of the van. The sliding door prevents any of the anchor options from working on the rear portion of the van but fortunately the pop-up mechanism has a great attachment hole for the awning clip. The friendly and responsive customer service correspondence has been superb.

The suction cups work really well on my van's fiberglass top. Setting it up was easy and it feels solid. I don't have pics in the wild yet, but coming soon. Here are a couple of when I set it up in my driveway :)
