What is the difference between the Oval and Round MoonMounts?
Some SUVs and trucks have roof features like rain gutters or ridges that make it difficult—or even impossible—to install the 4.5" round MoonMount, as it requires a wider flat area. In these cases, the Oval MoonMount is a better fit. If the available space on your roof is less than 4.75 inches wide, we recommend using the Oval MoonMount.

Product Use

DO

• Clean surface and cup thoroughly before applying MoonMount.
• Use MoonMounts in calm conditions only (winds less than 10mph).
• Unmount MoonShade from vehicle anchors in high winds with gusty conditions.
• Use included guylines and stakes EVERY time MoonShade is set up.
  

DO NOT

• Leave MoonShade unattended while mounted to vehicle.
• Use MoonMounts on vinyl wraps or over vinyl decals, as it may cause delamination. 
  
• Leave MoonMounts on painted surfaces for more then 48 hours.
